How a Group of Women Planted the Seed of a New Journey
The Seed of a Teacher Training Course
How a group of women sowed the seed of a Yoga Teacher Training Course in my mind is still magical to me. Their encouragement planted a thought so deep that my entire focus shifted towards finding the top yoga schools in India.
I have always believed that true learning comes from experienced teachers, and when it comes to yoga, nothing surpasses traditional Hatha Yoga. When you manifest your thoughts with sincerity, life gently aligns itself to bring you the right people and opportunities.
Guidance from an Old Connection
Around this time, I reconnected with an ex-colleague who had completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Sivananda Meenakshi Ashram, Madurai. I didn’t go in with a long checklist of questions—this was my very first step into the ‘unknown’. She kindly guided me through the process while I was still in the UAE, holding on to visa extensions and trying to balance the life I had built there.
A Heartfelt Goodbye
Leaving was not easy. The community I had nurtured, class by class, student by student, had grown into a family. I had to part with them carrying only sweet memories—the love, the affection, and the heartfelt words of gratitude from students who felt healthier and happier.
I felt content, knowing I had been a torchbearer of wellness in their lives.
The Leap of Faith
I never set out to teach. I was simply practicing for myself. But somehow, by just walking out and showing up, I had unknowingly inspired others.
✨ And that’s when I realized:
“I walked
Then the day finally arrived. With uncertainties in my heart and my children left behind, I set forth, hoping COVID would never return to disrupt life again. By then, I had already enrolled in the Yoga Teacher Training Course.
And here’s the twist of destiny—post-COVID, I became part of the very first TTC batch to begin after the pandemic.
, and the world walked with me.”
A True New Beginning ✨
This was not just a course. It was the beginning of a new chapter, a new identity, and a lifelong journey as a yoga teacher.
FAQ
